Sagle, Idaho
Certifications:

Description:
David has taught for WMA since 2002 and has had the pleasure of teaching all over the US and many other countries including considerable time in Japan—where he met his wonderful wife! He works as a paramedic in northern Idaho and operates as both a field operator working out of a chase car and a community paramedic trying to lessen the burden on the healthcare system. David also works with the local Search and Rescue team as both a technical rope rescuer and SAR dog handler with his partner, Indy. He is co-owner of Backcountry Rescue Institute.
David enjoys rock climbing, hiking, hunting, and mountain biking. He has also found a new love of all things canoeing after having spent time teaching around the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. Since he became a father of two, he also enjoys a raucous game of outdoor kickball. His family enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and seeing all the wonderful sights and sounds the Idaho panhandle has to offer!
