Description:
Ed is employed as an Advanced Care Paramedic and Search and Rescue Technician with the Canadian Armed Forces. As a Search and Rescue Technician, Ed is required to be on-call to render rescue and medical assistance in remote and inaccessible areas. Parachuting, Mountain Rescue, Rescue Scuba Diving, Ground Search and Survival Skills are all maintained in order for Ed to fulfill this role. He is also a rope and ice rescue specialist. Ed completed a 6-month tour in Bosnia as an independent Medic in an isolated platoon house.
