Lance has been a pre-hospital EMS provider for 20 years, working on both volunteer and full-time services. Lance came to WMA as an instructor after attending the WEMT while he was the Director of Recreation for a University in Wisconsin. “The instructors were knowledgeable and had the experience behind them to make the class worthwhile and relevant, I was hooked on WMA.” Lance has worked as a training officer and has spoken at many conferences in which he provides students with the tricks of the trade that WMA has, these tricks are relevant for the Wilderness provider as well as the Urban provider. Lance currently owns EPRG, a emergency preparedness consulting company and has worked as a regional EMS Coordinator, Emergency Manager and also is an active member of the State All Hazard Incident Management Team, EMAC, and Ambulance Strike Teams. Lance enjoys kayaking, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and spending time with his friends and family.
