Michelle works full-time as a paramedic for American Medical Response in West Michigan. She enjoys working in austere environments as a part of AMR’s Disaster Response Team and has been on several Gulf Coast deployments to aid in hurricane relief. Michelle is also a member of AMR’s Special Response (SWAT) Team. In her spare time Michelle enjoys running, kayaking, and adventure racing.

Utilizing a diversified group of instructors with broad medical and outdoor experience, Wilderness Medical Associates International has designed medical courses for specific industries that work in unconventional or remote environments. These include remote and isolated communities, disaster management, remote natural resources such as forestry, mining, gas and oil companies, government agencies, military applications, expeditions, and other low resource medical settings. We will adapt a course to ensure that your staff is prepared for a medical emergency.
