Sarah is currently a resident in the University of Ottawa's laboratory medicine program. She previously completed her family medicine residency through the Northern Ontario School of Medicine’s rural family medicine program. Having grown up both in and around Algonquin Park, most of her childhood was spent in the bush. She worked as a flat water canoe trip guide in Algonquin Park prior to graduating from medical school at the University of Ottawa, where she founded the school’s wilderness medicine interest group. When not working, Sarah is an avid runner, angler, and hiker. Your best chances of finding her though are on the ski trails or in a canoe.
